Park of Peneda GeresThe Entre-Douro-e-Minho was a province of the North Atlantic from Portugal comprises the current districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto and part of the districts of Aveiro, Viseu and Vila Real in the time of the Portuguese monarchy. The capital, according Zwölfter Theil (1824), was Braga. This province has never been officially given was simply a nomenclature used by some demographers to refer to the Northwest of Portugal (Minho and Douro Litoral). Major cities: Porto and Braga as both (alternating) as capital. It is known for its differentiated both mountainous landscapes, the Park of Peneda Geres, as its beautiful beaches bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, a region famous also for its cuisine.
